Talia Scarpelli is an artist and librarian based in Asheville, North Carolina.
While she loves exploring new medium, relief printing has been her focus for many years. Her work is inspired by the microscopic worlds that exist beneath our feet; the worlds of worms, germs, growth, and decay. The passage of time and perpetual longing are also themes present in her work.
As an arts educator and librarian, Talia focuses her practice on accessibility within the arts. She currently works in a high school library while pursuing grad school.
